Nova Blast is an ability used by 089.
Function[]
A Nova Blast is an explosive release of energy that fires in all directions away from the user, which can be human or a machine. The blast is capable of creating shockwaves and wind, starting fires, and completely vaporizing materials, such as flesh. If unskilled, the user can gravely injure or kill themselves in a nova blast, however if an outside force, such as teleportation, interrupts them, the blast will occur but the user will be fine.
Elemental or magic power and energy is released in a Nova Blast, but if a user does not posess these, their life force itself will be released. This is only possible if charged with some sort of substance or energy that has magical properties, such as Zeton or Incredidite. Energy coarses through the user and is slowly released through pores and openings, such as ears, nostrils, the mouth, and eyeballs until it is released. When released, the user can focus on a target for a direct hit, but most of the blast goes off in various directions. The shockwave will go everywhere, but the energy will travel away from the user. Duration and power level effect how much damage the user and targets will take and if the user will survive. If they do survive, they will be extremely drained and tired, almost as if they are about to pass out and throw up all of their insides at the same time.
Variants[]
- Zeton Life Blast - Blue and green energy is released, capable of destroying flesh and metal. The user is able to control it to an extent and aim at a certain target for a controlled hit. The blast is very similar to a theoretical lightning blast. Zeton does most of the damage, but the life force of the user charges the blast, but damages the user.
History[]
The Origins of 089[]
089, when charged with energy from Zeton Turrets, released a nova blast that destroyed Goliath and many other diesels, but he was teleported away by Lady during the blast so he survived.
